Check the underhood junction block AUX PWR Fuse for an open.

Is the AUX PWR Fuse OK?

  1. Disconnect the auxiliary power outlet connector.
  2. Connect a DMM from the auxiliary power outlet connector cavity B (BLK) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 5

Connect a DMM from the auxiliary power outlet connector cavity A (ORN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Replace the auxiliary power outlet. Refer to Console Accessory Plug Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Is the auxiliary power outlet replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 3540 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Is the circuit repair complete?

Replace the AUX PWR Fuse in the underhood junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Is the fuse replacement complete?

Go to Cigar Lighter/Auxiliary Outlets System Check

Repair the open in CKT 350 (BLK) between the auxiliary power outlet and G200. Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 3540 (ORN) between the underhood junction block and the auxiliary power outlet. Refer to Wiring Repairs .
