The following components contain self-diagnostics:
• | The heater and A/C programmer |
• | The Climate Control Panel (CCP) |
When these self-diagnostics are accessed by the on-board diagnostics or by the use of a Scan Tool , the self-diagnostics will identify the source of any system malfunction as specifically as possible. This identification will differentiate between current type or non-current (history) type malfunctions.
The on-board diagnostics will only allow the following functions:
• | Viewing the DTCs |
• | Clearing of the DTCs |
Use the Scan Tool to perform any tests or overrides.
