Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement DeVille

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .



3. Pull the CHMSL cover (1) inboard and up in order to disengage the tabs.
4. Remove the CHMSL cover.
5. Remove the CHMSL. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.



6. Using the J 38778 remove the plastic retainer (2).
7. Remove the rear shelf trim panel (1).

1. Install the rear shelf trim panel (1).
2. Install the plastic retainer (2) in order to secure the panel.
3. Install the CHMSL. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.



4. Install the CHMSL cover.
5. Install the quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .

Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement Eldorado

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
3. Remove both rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .



4. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp support cover (1).
5. Remove the CHMSL. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
6. Using the J 38778 remove the plastic retainers (2).



7. Remove the rear shelf trim panel (1).

1. Install the rear seat shelf panel (1).
2. Install the plastic retainers (2) in order to secure the rear shelf trim panel.
3. Install the CHMSL. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.



4. Install the center high mounted stop lamp cover (1).
5. Install the rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
