1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the seat switch connector from cavity B (DK GRN) to ground.
2. Move the front vertical switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the seat switch connector from cavity A (DK BLU) to ground.
2. Move the front vertical switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Replace the seat switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

Is the seat switch replacement complete?

Go to Power Seats System Check

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the seat front vertical motor connector from cavity B (DK GRN) to ground.
2. Move the front vertical switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 8

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the seat front vertical motor connector from cavity A (DK BLU) to ground.
2. Move the front vertical switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 9

Replace the seat front vertical motor. Refer to Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement - Power .

Is the seat front vertical motor replacement complete?

Go to Power Seats System Check

Repair the open in CKT 286 (DK GRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 287 (DK BLU). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
