  1. Connect a scan tool to the data link connector.
  2. Close and open the right front passenger door.

Is the passenger door jamb switch input ON when the right front passenger door is open?

Go to Step 11

  1. Disconnect the IPC connector C1.
  2. Connect a DMM from the IPC connector C1 terminal A5 battery positive voltage.
  3. Place all of the passenger doors in the ajar position.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Close all the passenger doors.
  2. Place the right front door in the ajar position.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Disconnect the right front door jamb switch.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the right front door jamb switch connector terminal C and terminal A

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Repair the short in CKT 746 between S326 and the right front door jamb switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the right front door jamb switch. Refer to Right Front Door Jamb Switch Replacement in Doors.

  1. Close the right front door.
  2. Place the right rear door in the ajar position.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Disconnect the right front door jamb switch.
  2. Connect a DMM from the right rear door jamb switch connector terminal C and terminal A.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Repair the open in CKT 746 between S326 and the right rear door jamb switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the left rear door jamb switch. Refer to Left Front Door Jamb Switch Replacement in Doors.

  1. Disconnect the right front door jamb switch.
  2. Connect a DMM from the left rear door jamb switch connector terminal B to terminal D.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V
