Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear electronic bay board. Refer to Electronics Bay Board Replacement in Body Rear End.
- Disconnect the wiring harness connection.
- Press on the locking tabs in order to remove the remote function actuator (RFA) module (1) from the left side of the electronics bay board.
Installation Procedure
- Install the remote function actuator (RFA) (1) module onto the electronics bay board.
- Connect the wiring harness connection.
- Install the rear electronic bay board. Refer to Electronics Bay Board Replacement in Body Rear End.
- Reprogram the transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Synchronization .
