Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
  2. Remove the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 243430 Size: SH
  4. Remove the outside handle clip from the outside handle rod.
  5. Remove the outside handle rod from the lock assembly.
  6. Remove the outside handle rod.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 243430 Size: SH
  1. Install the outside handle rod.
  2. Install the outside handle rod to the lock assembly.
  3. Install the outside handle clip to the outside handle rod.

    4. Important: Check to ensure rear door outside handle has no play. If adjustment is needed, use the adjuster located at the base of release rod.

  4. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  5. Install the door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
