Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 656297 Size: SH
  1. Remove the outside rearview mirror bezel.

    2. Object Number: 656304 Size: SH
  2. Remove the door assist handle molding.

    3. Object Number: 657930 Size: SH
  3. Remove the door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the actuating rod from the door latch.
  5. Slide the door assist handle forward.
  6. Remove the door assist handle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the door assist handle to the door.
  2. Connect the actuating rod to the door latch.

    3. Object Number: 657930 Size: SH
  3. Install the door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 656304 Size: SH
  4. Install the door assist handle molding.

    5. Object Number: 656297 Size: SH
  5. Install the outside rearview mirror bezel.
  6. Verify the door operation.
