Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel which covers the rear seat to the rear window. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.

  2. Object Number: 159639  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the radio rear speaker connector (1).

  4. Object Number: 159643  Size: SH
  5. Remove the speaker screws (1).
  6. Remove the speaker (2) with the baffle from the rear parcel shelf.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the speaker (2) with the baffle at the rear parcel shelf.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the speaker screws (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the speaker screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Connect the speaker connector (1).
  6. Install the trim panel which covers the rear seat to the rear window. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
