Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel which covers the rear seat to the rear window. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.

  2. Object Number: 786295  Size: SH
  3. Remove the radio antenna amplifier cable (2).
  4. Disconnect the amplifier connectors (4).
  5. Remove the amplifier bolts (1).
  6. Remove the amplifier (3) from the rear parcel shelf.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the amplifier (3) to the rear parcel shelf.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the amplifier bolts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the amplifier cable (2).
  6. Connect the amplifier connectors (4).
  7. Install the trim panel which covers the rear seat to the rear window. Refer to Rear Window Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
