Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the parking brake lever. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 219665 Size: SH
  2. Remove the parking brake switch bolt (1) from the parking brake indicator switch (2).

    3. Object Number: 219662 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector (1) from the parking brake switch (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 219662 Size: SH
  1. Connect the parking brake switch connector (1) to the parking brake switch (2).
  2. Install the parking brake switch.

    3. Object Number: 219665 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the parking brake switch bolt (1) attaching the parking brake indicator switch (2) to the lever.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the parking brake switch bolt to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the parking brake lever. Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement .
