  1. Operate the express function for each power window from each individual side door window switch.
  2. To do this, just press and hold any side door window switch in the UP or DOWN position for approximately 1 second.

The express function on each power window operates quietly and smoothly, with no sticking or mechanical noises.
    • The express function on the LH front power window does not operate properly. Refer to Power Window Express Down Function Inoperative for diagnosis.
    • The express function on the RH front power window does not operate properly. Refer to Power Window Express Down Function Inoperative for diagnosis.
    • The express function on the LH rear power window does not operate properly. Refer to Power Window Express Down Function Inoperative for diagnosis.
    • The express function on the RH rear power window does not operate properly. Refer to Power Window Express Down Function Inoperative for diagnosis.

  1. Place the rear window lockout switch in the lockout position.
  2. Operate the rear side door windows from the rear side door window switches

The rear side door windows do not operate from the rear side door window switches.

The rear side door windows do operate from the rear side door window switches. Refer to Power Window Lockout Function Inoperative for diagnosis.

  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
  2. Close all the doors.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  4. Operate each power window.
    • All the power windows will operate with the ignition in the OFF position.
    • The doors will become inoperative when any door is opened.

The windows do not operate when the ignition is turned to the OFF position with the doors closed. Refer to Power Windows Inoperative
