- Disconnect the front height seat adjuster actuator motor connector.
- Use the DMM in order to measure the voltage between terminal 1
and terminal 2 of the connector on the switch side while pressing the
forward and backward switch.
- Terminal 2 is B+ and terminal 1 is grounded if the
front height up switch is pressed.
- Terminal 1 is B+ and terminal 2 is grounded if the
front height down switch is pressed.
Is the measured voltage at the specified value?

- Disconnect the submarine switch connector C2 ( black wire
).
- Ensure that the seat is not tilted too far forward.
- When the seat front height is down too far in relation to the
seat rear height ( tilted too far forward ) the submarine switch will open
and no voltage will reach the front seat-down switch or the rear seat-up switch.
- Use the DMM in order to measure the voltage between terminal 1
on the submarine switch C2 male connector and ground.
