The compressor hose is located between the compressor and the discharge hose at the LH front side of the engine compartment.

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
2. Remove the compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .



3. Remove the compressor hose quick connect fitting at the following locations:

•	The compressor/condenser hose.

•	The evaporator tube extension.

4. Remove the compressor hose.

1. Install the compressor hose.
2. Install the compressor hose quick connect to the evaporator tube extension:

•	Use new O-rings.

•	Lubricate the new O-rings with mineral oil, 525 viscosity.

3. Install the compressor hose quick connect to the compressor/condenser hose:

•	Use new O-rings.

•	Lubricate the new O-rings with mineral oil, 525 viscosity.

4. Install the compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .
5. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
6. Leak check the A/C system.
