Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

1. Disable the SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraints.
2. Front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
4. Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .



5. Remove the window run channel weatherstrip:

•	Start at the upper rear corner of the door frame.

•	Pull out the strip from the upper and both lower channels.

1. Install the window run channel weatherstrip:

•	Start at the upper rear corner of the door frame.

•	Insert the strip into the upper and both lower channels.

2. Install the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
3. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
4. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
5. Enable the SIR system, if equipped with the SIR impact system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraints.
