Removal Procedure
  1. Disable SIR system if equipped with SIR side impact system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR Restraints.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door outside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 243274 Size: SH
  5. Remove the C-Clip.
  6. Remove the cam lever.
  7. Remove the spring from the lock barrel.
  8. Remove the door control lock tamper switch retainer.
  9. Remove the tamper switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 243274 Size: SH
  1. Install the tamper switch.
  2. Install the door control lock tamper switch retainer.
  3. Install the spring from the lock barrel.
  4. Install the cam lever.
  5. Install the C-Clip.
  6. Install the front door outside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Enable SIR system If equipped with SIR side impact system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR Restraints.
