Console Ashtray/Lighter Replacement Buick

1. Remove the upper console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .



2. Remove the screws (3) that retain the ashtray assembly (2).
3. Pull the ashtray assembly (2) from the console.

Release the tabs (4) from the retainers (1).

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

1. Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Install the ashtray assembly (2) to the console.

Push in the assembly in order to engage the tabs (4) into the retainers (1).

3. Install the screws in order to retain the ashtray assembly (2) to the instrument panel.
4. Install the upper console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .

Console Ashtray/Lighter Replacement Oldsmobile

1. Remove the shifter trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .



2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the lighter.
3. Remove the retainer from the lighter.
4. Remove the lighter housing.

1. Install the lighter housing to the shifter trim plate.
2. Install the lighter retainer.
3. Connect the electrical connector (2).
4. Install the shifter trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .
