1. Close all of the doors.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
4. Open one of the front doors.

The security indicator flashes.

Press one of the front door lock switches.

The security indicator illuminates.

Close either front door.

The security indicator illuminates for 30 seconds.

Attempt to start the engine.

The engine cranks and starts.

The engine cranks but does not start.

Observe the security indicator while attempting to start the engine.

The indicator illuminates and turns off in approximately 5 seconds.
