1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the seat switch connector from the appropriate cavity to ground:

•	Left: cavity D (DK GRN)

•	Right: cavity E (DK GRN)

2. Move the appropriate front vertical switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the seat switch connector from the appropriate cavity to ground:

•	Left: cavity A (DK BLU)

•	Right: cavity G (DK BLU)

2. Move the appropriate front vertical switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Replace the suspect seat switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

Is the seat switch replacement complete?

Go to Step 10

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the appropriate seat front vertical motor connector from cavity A (DK GRN) to ground.
2. Move the front vertical switch to the UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 8

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the appropriate seat front vertical motor connector from cavity B (DK BLU) to ground.
2. Move the front vertical switch to the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 9

Replace the suspect seat front vertical motor. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement .

Is the seat front vertical motor replacement complete?

Repair the open in the appropriate circuit:

Is the repair complete?
