Removal Procedure

    Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

  1. Remove the trim panel and the upper part of the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the inside belt molding.
  3. Remove the outside handle rod and the key cylinder rod.
  4. Remove the latch. Refer to Door Latch Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the latch. Refer to Door Latch Replacement .
  2. Install the outside handle rod and the key cylinder rod.
  3. Install the inside belt molding.
  4. Connect the power window switch.
  5. Install the trim panel and the upper part of the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
