1. Disconnect the inside rear view mirror.
2. Place the test lamp across harness connector terminals 1 and 2.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

Replace the inside rear view mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open or shorted power circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
