Did you perform the IP Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Inspect the instrument cluster DTC.

Is any DTC set?

--

Go to the appropriate DTC Diagnostic Table

Go to Step 3

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Select the instrument cluster Inputs Menu.

Does the odo/trip switch on the scan tool cycle on to off when the ODO/TRIP button is pressed?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) between terminal B8 and ground.
  4. Press the ODO/TRIP button.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

0-5 ohms

Does the ODO/TRIP button work correctly?

Test CKT 1326 for an open.

Is CKT 1326 open?

Repair the open in CKT 1326.

Is the repair complete?

Check CKT 350 for an open.

Is CKT 350 open?

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in CKT 350.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the DIC switch assembly. Refer to Driver Information Display Switch Replacement .
