Did you perform the IP Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Inspect the instrument cluster DTC.

Is any DTC set?

--

Go to the appropriate DTC Diagnostic Table

Go to Step 3

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Select the instrument cluster Inputs Menu.

Does the fuel info switch on the scan tool cycle on to off when the FUEL INFO button is pressed?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  3. Hold the FUEL INFO button down and measure the resistance between terminal  A10 and ground.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

0-5 ohms

Does the FUEL INFO button work correctly?

Check CKT 1327 for an open.

Is CKT 1327 open?

Repair the open in CKT 1327.

Is the repair complete?

Check CKT 350 for an open.

Is CKT 350 open?

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in CKT 350.

Is the repair complete?
