Did you perform the IP Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Turn the Ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Inspect the instrument cluster DTC.

Is any DTC set?

Go to the appropriate DTC Diagnostic Table

Go to Step 3

  1. Turn the Ignition switch to Run.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Select the instrument cluster Inputs Menu.

Does the RESET button input on the scan tool cycle on and off when the RESET button is pressed?

  1. Turn the Ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  3. Connect a DMM between terminal B9 and ground.
  4. Press the RESET button.

Is the resistance within the specified range?

0-5 ohms

Does the RESET button work correctly?

Check CKT 1816 for an open.

Is CKT 1816 open?

Repair open CKT 1816.

Is the repair complete?

Check CKT 350 for an open.

Is CKT 350 open?

Repair open in CKT 350.
