Speedometer and Tachometer Inoperative All Warning Lights On DTC U0155 Sym Code 00 - keywords bec cluster code connector display dtc fuse high hot innacrate inoperative instrument intermittent ipbec

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that the speedometer and tachometer are inoperative and several indicators are illuminated on the IPC. Further inspection from the technician may reveal DTC U0155 symptom code 00 stored in one or several modules.

This may be the result of one or more of the following items:

1. Inadequate torque of the UBEC connector attachment bolts.
2. Loose audio fuse in the IP BEC
3. IPC connector not fully seated to the cluster.
4. Inadequate torque on G302.

1. Check the torque of three connector attachment bolts in the UBEC.
2. Ensure the IPBEC "Audio" fuse is fully seated. Seat fuse using a pocket screw driver. Do not use the yellow fuse holder.
3. Ensure the Cluster connector is fully seated.
4. If 1-3 are ok, check for tight G302 under driver's seat.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
