Subject: | Tire Pressure Light On Poor Range Of The Key Fob And Remote Start Operation |
Models: | 2008 Saturn VUE |
This PI Supercedes To Update Recommendation/Instructions. Please Discard PIT4457A.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
The tire pressure light is on, with DTC C0750, C0765, C0760 and/or C0755. The tire pressure sensors cannot be programmed and/or the customer may also complain about poor range when using their key fob for door locking/unlocking and/or for remote start operation. This may be caused by a pinched antenna wire.
Inspect the RCDLR antenna which is located on the left side of IP behind and above the DLC. Verify the correct routing of the RCDLR antenna. The RCDLR antenna may be trapped between the IP carrier and the cowl on the left side of the IP. If the antenna wire is found to be pinched, replace the RCDLR antenna. SI Document 1906663
Note: If the vehicle is not equipped with an antenna, and the problem is intermittent and associated with the Right Rear wheel sensor only (C0765), the condition may be resolved through the installation of RCDLR PN 25808837 and Antenna PN 96673266
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
