The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

The customer may complain the AC is inoperative, blows warm air or a white mist is seen coming from the vents. This may be caused by the evaporator core freezing up after an extended drive, approximately 2 hours of highway driving. This concern may be hard to duplicate.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Do not make any repairs for this concern at this time. Engineering is aware of the concern and is working on a software update. This PI will be updated when a fix becomes available.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
