The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The customer may complain the outside air temperature does not display the correct temperature or it takes to long to update. The outside air temperature sensor reading can be updated using the A/C control head (press the A/C and Recirc buttons at the same time) or using the Tech 2 to display the current ambient temperature.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Do not make any repairs for this concern at this time. Engineering is aware of the concern and is working on a software update. This PI will be updated when a fix becomes available.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
