The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some leather steering wheels may be found to peel, feel spongy or bubbled in the spoke area above or below the steering-wheel controls, or around the bright trim at the lower section of the steering wheel. See Pictures below.

Recommendation/Instructions:

At this time it is suggested that the wheel be replaced with PN 96626679.

This PI will be updated when new information becomes available.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
