Makes šŸ¢’ Saturn šŸ¢’ 2007 šŸ¢’ VUE - FWD šŸ¢’ Body Systems šŸ¢’ Fixed and Moveable Windows šŸ¢’ Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door applique. Refer to Rear Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip run channel assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door outer panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear door sound insulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Insulator Replacement .

  6. Remove the rear door window run channel and fixed glass assembly.
    7. ā€¢ Remove the lower bolt from the fixed glass post.
    ā€¢ Disengage the fixed glass post upper clip from the door frame by using a small screwdriver to press up on the clip.
    ā€¢ Depress the mushroom retainers at the top ends of the metal glass run channels.
    ā€¢ Remove the seal leg from the front metal glass run channel.
    ā€¢ Starting from the front corner of the door, remove the seal from the door header flange.
    ā€¢ Remove the seal and fixed glass assembly from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 928787 Size: SH
  1. Install the window run channel seal and fixed glass assembly.
    2. ā€¢ Place the seal and fixed glass assembly into the door frame.
    ā€¢ Place the seal assembly on the door header.
    ā€¢ Install the fixed glass post upper clip to the door frame.
    ā€¢ Install the front seal leg to the metal glass run channel.
    ā€¢ Secure the mushroom retainers at the top ends of the metal glass run channels.
    ā€¢ Install the seal to the door header flange, starting from the front corner.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    ā€¢ Install the lower fixed glass post bolt.

    Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 NĀ·m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the rear door sound insulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Insulator Replacement .
  3. Install the rear door outer panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the rear door window weatherstrip run channel assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear door applique. Refer to Rear Door Frame Applique Replacement .
  6. Install the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
