Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the Rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the water deflector.

Rear Side Door Check Link Body Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Rear Side Door Check Link Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
7 N·m (62 lb in)

Tip
Remove the check link from the door through the center opening.
