Preliminary Procedure Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Remove liquid line. Refer to Liquid Line Replacement Remove evaporator outlet hose. Refer to Evaporator Outlet Hose Replacement.
1	Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) Bolt Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 3.5 N·m (31 lb in)
2	TXV/Plate Tip Remove and discard the seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement.
