DTC Parameters
DTC P0749 is set when there has been a ground/open or short to voltage fault in the pressure control solenoid circuit for a time less than the time required to set DTCs P0768 and P0747, twice per ignition cycle.
Test Description
This DTC indicates an intermittent condition. Refer to DTC P0746, DTC P0747 and DTC P0748 for circuits that may have intermittent faults. Also refer to Diagnostic Aids for these DTCs.
Repair Verification
Monitor the DTC menu Code Status for Pass Since Code Clear and Pass This Ignition Cycle. When both have passed, the repair is verified.
Criteria for pass:
| • | The engine is running. |
| • | Power is present at the solenoids and no active faults exist for this solenoid. |
