Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution in the Preface section.

- Vehicles equipped with manual transaxles must disconnect the clutch hydraulic
feed line from the master cylinder reservoir. Plug the line to avoid leakage and
contamination.

Remove the low brake fluid switch electrical connector and remove the switch
by depressing the tabs on the opposite end of the switch.
- Syphon the brake fluid from the master brake cylinder reservoir.
- Unclip the reservoir hold down clamps and remove
the reservoir by pulling upward.
- Remove the reservoir seals.
Installation Procedure
- Lubricate the new reservoir seals with clean brake fluid and install the
seals into the master cylinder.
- Install the reservoir into the master cylinder. Be sure the locking tabs
are engaged.
- Install the low brake fluid switch and the electrical
connector.
- Vehicles equipped with manual transaxles must
install the clutch hydraulic feed line to the master cylinder reservoir.

- Fill the brake reservoir with clean brake fluid up to the MAX mark on reservoir.
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to
