Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the hood.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    3. Object Number: 892638 Size: SH
  3. From underneath the front of the vehicle, disconnect the cable from the latch.
  4. Remove the primary hood latch spring.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 892638 Size: SH
  1. Install the primary hood latch spring.
  2. Connect the cable to the latch.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Close the hood. Inspect the latch operation and fit.
  5. Adjust the latch as required. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
