Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 893742 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Removal.
  2. Remove the rear portion of the water deflector.

    3. Object Number: 897170 Size: SH
  3. Partially remove the inner and outer weather-strip from the rear of door only.

    4. Object Number: 893633 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear window run channel.
  5. Run window to 3/4 up position.

    6. Object Number: 893704 Size: SH
  6. Remove the latch/lock mechanism from the door.
  7. Remove the power door lock electrical connector and the 2 lock rods from the latch mechanism.

Installation

    Object Number: 893704 Size: SH
  1. Install the power door lock electrical connector and the 2 lock rods to the latch mechanism.
  2. Install the latch/lock mechanism to the door.
  3. Tighten the top screw first, bottom screw second, and middle screw last.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door latch-to-door bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Run window to 3/4 up position.

    5. Object Number: 893633 Size: SH
  5. Install the rear window run channel. Tighten the bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear window run change bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the inner and outer weather-strip.

    7. Object Number: 893742 Size: SH
  7. Install the rear portion of the water deflector.
  8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Installation.
