Removal Procedure
- Remove the floor air outlet duct on the drivers side. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
- Locate the brake light switch (1), situated on the left.
- Turn the switch assembly with connector counter-clockwise and remove the switch.
- Remove the switch and disconnect the connector.
- Pull switch plunger all the way out, which may require moderate force.
Important: The notch on plunger will be fully visible when plunger is all the way out.
Installation Procedure
- Install the switch (1) in the opening.
- Turn clockwise in order to retain the switch in place.
- Install the floor air outlet duct on the drivers side. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Replacement .
