Cruise Control Cable Adjustment L61/L81

Important: Cable adjustment is necessary only if the factory installed cable has been replaced.

1. Partially disengage the adjustment lock on the cruise control throttle cable (1) by depressing the tabs. Do not remove entirely. This will release the spring inside the adjuster (2) to take out the cable slack.
2. Make sure the throttle plate is fully closed.
3. Ensure the cable head (4) is tight against the cable snap (3).
4. Engage the adjustment lock.
