Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the tire and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.

    3. Object Number: 892074 Size: SH
  3. Remove the exhaust muffler hangers.

    4. Object Number: 892450 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fuel tank heat shield from the rear suspension support. Refer to Fuel Tank Heat Shield Replacement in Engine Exhaust.

    5. Object Number: 891515 Size: SH
  5. Remove both stabilizer link to trailing bar bolts.

    6. Object Number: 891578 Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear stabilizer bar to support assembly clamp bolts.
  7. Remove the stabilizer bar from the rear support assembly.
  8. Remove the stabilizer bar clamps from the stabilizer bar.
  9. Remove the insulators from the stabilizer bar.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the insulators to the stabilizer bar.
  2. Install the stabilizer bar clamps to the stabilizer bar.

    3. Object Number: 891578 Size: SH
  3. Position the stabilizer bar to the rear support assembly.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the stabilizer bar clamp to support assembly bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  5. Install both stabilizer link to trailing bar bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  6. Install the fuel tank heat shield to the rear suspension support. Refer to Fuel Tank Heat Shield Replacement in Engine Exhaust.

    7. Object Number: 892074 Size: SH
  7. Install the exhaust muffler hangers.
  8. Install the tire and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
