Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 892405 Size: SH
  1. Open the decklid.

    2. Object Number: 894237 Size: SH
  2. Unsnap the drivers side wiring harness clip from the decklid hinge.
  3. Disengage the decklid wiring harness from the rear shelf panel.

    4. Object Number: 892408 Size: SH
  4. If the decklid is to be reinstalled, mark the location of the hinges relative to the decklid with a wax pencil or equivalent.
  5. Remove the 1 bolt from each side of the hinge.
  6. With an aid of a helper to hold on to the decklid, remove the remaining 2 bolts from the decklid hinges.
  7. If the decklid is to be replaced, remove the wire harness from the decklid and reinstall the wire harness in the same position on the new decklid.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 892408 Size: SH
  1. With an aid of a helper, position the decklid into place to install.

    2. Object Number: 894237 Size: SH
  2. Snap the drivers side wiring harness clip to decklid hinge.

    3. Object Number: 892408 Size: SH
  3. Install the 1 bolt on each side of the hinge snug.
  4. Adjust the decklid to previous marks made or align with surrounding panels.
  5. Install the remaining 2 bolts to decklid hinges and tighten.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the declid-to-decklid hinge bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install decklid wiring harness to rear shelf panel.
  7. Close decklid.
