Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 893629 Size: SH
  1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Front.
  2. Remove the water deflector, carefully peel off.
  3. Remove the door glass. Refer to Window - Front Door Removal.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connection from the regulator power window only.

    5. Object Number: 893635 Size: SH
  5. Remove the window regulator attachment bolts.
  6. Slide the regulator assembly out through the opening in the lower center door reinforcement to remove.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893635 Size: SH
  1. Slide the regulator assembly through the opening in the lower center door reinforcement.

    2. Object Number: 893607 Size: SH
  2. Install and snug regulator attachment bolts.
  3. Install the rear most regulator attachment bolt and leave loose to allow window installation.
  4. Install the door glass. Refer to Window - Front Door Installation.
  5. Tighten all the regulator bolts.
  6. INSERT GRAPHIC SMGDR79145AA1

    7. Connect the electrical connector to regulator, power windows only.

  7. Replace the water deflector if damaged.
  8. Install the water deflector.
  9. Install the trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Front Installation.
  10. Operate window to up and down position to check operation. If binding exists, inspect all weather-strips and adjust as necessary.
