Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to communicate a correction to the Maintenance Schedule section "Additional Required Services" located in the 2004 Saturn ION Owner Manual. The manual currently states to change automatic transaxle or VTi variable transaxle fluid and filter every 50, 100, and 150 thousand miles. However, it isnot required to change the filter when the transmission fluid is replaced.
The second edition of the 2004 Saturn ION Owner Manual will have the "Additional Required Services" changed to reflect the correct information.
