Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front grille applique. Refer to Upper Grille Applique Replacement .

    2. Notice: Use care when grinding the heat stake material. Improper grinding could damage the applique.


    Object Number: 864041 Size: SH
  2. Grind the heat stakes from the backside of the chrome molding. Use a 3M Rolocdisk, grade 80, or equivalent.

    3. Object Number: 864040 Size: SH
  3. Remove and discard the chrome molding.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 864040 Size: SH
  1. Position the chrome molding to the applique.

    2. Object Number: 864041 Size: SH
  2. Install the retaining clips that come with the molding. Seat the clips firmly over the heat stakes.
  3. Install the front grille applique. Refer to Upper Grille Applique Replacement .
