Cruise Switch : Displays On or Off. Indicates the status
of the cruise control On/Off switch.
Cruise Set/Coast : Displays On or Off. Indicates the
status of the cruise set coast switch. Displays On when the cruise set/coast
switch is being depressed.
Cruise Resume/Accel: Displays On or Off. Indicates the
status of the cruise resume/accel switch. Displays On when the cruise resume/accel
switch is being depressed.
Cruise Clutch Command: Displays On or Off. Indicates
the commanded state Cruise Control Servo Clutch Control circuit. When the
clutch is commanded On, Cruise Control Servo Clutch Control circuit is pulled
low.
Cruise Direction Command: Displays Idle or WOT. When
the Cruise Control Servo Direction Signal circuit is commanded high, cruise
direction is towards WOT. When the Cruise Control Servo Direction Signal is
commanded low, cruise direction is towards Idle.
M/T Clutch Disengage: Displays No or Yes. If the clutch
pedal is depressed, this Scan tool parameter will display Yes.
Cruise in Released State: Displays No or Yes. If cruise
is engaged and regulating vehicle speed the parameter displays Yes.
Cruise Switch Voltage: Displays the voltage at the ECM
on the Cruise Control Set/Coast and Resume/Accelerate Switch Signal circuit.
Cruise Vehicle Set Speed: Displays the vehicle speed
at which the driver set the cruise control speed.
Cruise Delta: Displays the difference between the cruise
control set speed and the actual vehicle speed.
Cruise Brake Switch: Displays Released or Applied. The
cruise brake switch is a normally closed switch that indicates the brake pedal
position. When the brake pedal is released there is ignition voltage present
on the TCC Brake Switch/Cruise Control Release Signal.
Stop Lamp Switch: Displays Released or Applied. The
stop lamp switch is a normally open switch that indicated the brake pedal
position and is hard wired to the stop lamps. When the brake pedal is released
there is no voltage on the signal circuit.
Cruise Move Command: Displays On or Off. This parameter
displays on when the ECM is commanding the cruise control module to increase
or decrease throttle angle. The Cruise Control Servo Move Signal circuit is
a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal and the duty cycle controls the amount
of movement.
C/C Move Ckt.-Low Volt: The ECM continuously monitors
the Cruise Control Servo Move Signal circuit for a short to ground when the
circuit is commanded high (WOT). If the ECM detects a short to ground, C/C
Move Ckt.-Low Volt test will display Test Fail.
C/C Move Ckt.-Open: The ECM continuously monitors the
Cruise Control Servo Move Signal circuit for a open circuit when the circuit
is commanded low. If the ECM detects a open circuit the, C/C Move Ckt.-Open
test will display Test Fail.
C/C Move Ckt.-High Volt: The ECM continuously monitors
the Cruise Control Servo Move Signal circuit for a short to voltage when the
circuit is commanded low. If the ECM detects a short to ground, C/C Move
Ckt.-High Volt test will display Test Fail.
C/C Dir. Ckt.-Low Volt: The ECM continuously monitors
the Cruise Control Servo Move Direction Signal circuit for a short to ground.
If the ECM detects a short to ground, C/C Dir. Ckt.-Low Volt test will display
Test Fail.
C/C Dir. Ckt.-Open: The ECM continuously monitors the
Cruise Control Servo Move Direction Signal circuit for a open circuit. If
the ECM detects a open circuit, C/C Move Ckt.-Open test will display Test
Fail.
C/C Dir. Ckt.-High Volt: The ECM continuously monitors
the Cruise Control Servo Move Direction Signal circuit for a short to voltage.
If the ECM detects a short to voltage C/C Move Ckt.-High Volt test will display
Test Fail.
C/C Clutch-Low Volt: The ECM continuously monitors the
Cruise Control Servo Clutch Control circuit for a short to ground when the
clutch is commanded off. If the ECM detects a short to ground C/C Clutch-Low
Volt test will display Test Fail.
C/C Clutch-Open: The ECM continuously monitors the Cruise
Control Servo Clutch Control circuit for a open circuit when the clutch is
commanded Off. If the ECM detects a short to ground C/C Clutch-Open test
will display Test Fail.
C/C Clutch-Low Volt: The ECM continuously monitors the
Cruise Control Servo Clutch Control circuit for a short to voltage when the
clutch is commanded On. If the ECM detects a short to Voltage C/C Clutch-High
Volt test will display Test Fail.
