Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution in the Preface section.

    Notice: Refer to Liftgate Assist Rod Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the strut.
    3. • Support the hood.
    • Open the 2 retaining clips.
    • Remove the strut.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the strut.
  2. Install the strut support clip.
  3. Close the hood.
