Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the bolt holding the air cleaner outlet duct to the upper front bumper fascia grille. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
2. Remove both front fender liners. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement
3. Remove the engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement

Front Bumper Fascia Bracket Bolts (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Access the bolts through the front fender liner openings.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Front Bumper Fascia To Tie Bar Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Front Fascia Bumper To Tie Bar Retaining Clip (Qty: 2)

Front Bumper Fascia To Headlamp Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Front Bumper Fascia

Procedure

1. Disconnect any electrical connectors.
2. Pull gently on the fascia at the fenders to disengage them from the bumper brackets and remove with a partner.
3. Transfer any parts as needed.
4. Make sure the alignment tabs on the fascia slide into place under the headlamps upon reinstallation.
