For 1990-2009 cars only
- Turn the drive gear with 2 screwdrivers and make sure it rotates smoothly.
- Remove the 8 bolts and the stator shaft.
- Remove the oil pump drive gear and driven gear from the oil pump body.
Caution: Use extreme care when working around oil seals. Damage to the lip of a seal will cause oil leaks.
Note: Do not let the driver drop as it might come off attached to the stator shaft.
