Special Tools

    • EN-49074 Universal Valve Spring Compressor
    • EN-49155 Valve Spring Compressing Adapter
    • EN-49154 Adapter-Cylinder Pressure
    • KM-845 Suction Device

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2049393 Size: SH
  2. Remove the valve tappet using KM-845 suction device .
  3. Remove the spark plugs and then install the EN-49154 pressure .
  4. Apply the compressed air to the adapter to avoid dropping of valves in the cylinders inside.
  5. Install EN-49074 compressor and EN-49155 adapter .

    6. Object Number: 2049401 Size: SH
  6. Remove the valve key (1).
  7. Remove the valve springs (3), retainers (2), and seals (4).
  8. Remove the EN-49074 compressor and EN-49155 adapter .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2049401 Size: SH
  1. Install the seals (4), retainers (2), and valve spring (3).
  2. Install EN-49074 compressor and EN-49155 adapter .
  3. Install the valve key (1).

    4. Object Number: 2049393 Size: SH
  4. Install the valve tappet using KM-845 .
  5. Install the camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Replacement.
