Radio Rear Speaker Replacement Notchback

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248469  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  4. Object Number: 1248468  Size: SH
  5. Remove the screws and the rear speakers.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248468  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear speakers with the screws.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear speaker screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear cargo area trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the screws and the rear speaker.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248470  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear speaker with the screws.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear speaker screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the rear cargo area trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
