Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to SIR Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disable the SIR system, if equipped with side impact inflatable restraint modules. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.

    2. Object Number: 2020985 Size: SH
  2. Remove the outer seat track cover.

    3. Object Number: 2020992 Size: SH
  3. On FWD models, remove the inner seat track cover.

    4. Object Number: 2020999 Size: SH
  4. On AWD models, remove the inner seat track cover.

    5. Object Number: 2021003 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 2 rear seat mounting bolts.

    6. Object Number: 2021007 Size: SH
  6. Remove the 2 front seat mounting bolts.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors under the front seat.
  8. Remove the front seat assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the front seat assembly.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors under the front seat.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2021007 Size: SH
  3. Install the 2 front seat mounting bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat assembly bolts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

  4. Install the 2 rear seat mounting bolts.

    5. Object Number: 2020999 Size: SH
  5. On AWD models, install the inner seat track cover.

    6. Object Number: 2020992 Size: SH
  6. On FWD models, install the inner seat track cover.

    7. Object Number: 2020985 Size: SH
  7. Install the outer seat track cover.
  8. Enable the SIR system, if disabled. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  9. Perform the Passenger Presence Rezeroing procedure. Refer to Passenger Presence System Rezeroing.
